Sakura, nestled in Prescott Valley, Arizona, offers an authentic Japanese dining experience that skillfully blends culinary tradition with engaging entertainment. Located at 6648 N Viewpoint Dr Ste 2, this spot has quickly become a go-to for locals and visitors eager to indulge in both sushi and teppanyaki.

The heart of Sakura’s appeal lies in its vibrant hibachi experience. Guests consistently praise the lively atmosphere, where talented grill masters not only prepare meals with precision but also inject humor and showmanship into every interaction. This makes it an ideal destination for families, celebrations, and anyone seeking a dynamic night out rather than a quiet meal. The sizzling steaks, seafood, and classic sides like noodles and rice come out perfectly cooked, showcasing the chef’s skill and attention to flavor.

Aside from the hibachi, Sakura’s sushi and salads provide a refreshing complement to the teppanyaki spectacle. Fresh vegetable rolls and creative salads—like the grilled shrimp with mango and cashews—reflect thoughtful preparation and a nod to both health and taste. Whether you arrive early to catch a quieter moment or dive into the bustling energy at peak hours, the dining room has a comfortable layout, though it echoes with the excitement from the hibachi tables.

Customer service is another highlight. Servers are described as warm and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The staff’s friendly engagement contributes to a welcoming vibe that balances the high-energy kitchen performances.

We arrived at 4pm to avoid the crowds. We were seated next to a lovely couple celebrating their 39th anniversary. Our hibachi chef was Wyatt and we thought he was outstanding. He made sure we all had fun and our food was cooked perfectly. We had filet, chicken, noodles, rice and salad. We will be back. P.s our server was so sweet and full of smiles. We can’t remember her name but she was attentive and we were happy with her service.

What an amazing experience. Our hibachi chef was Joe and he gave us such a good time and it wasn’t just about the show but the food was SO GOOD. We will definitely be coming back for future celebrations and fantastic food. The atmosphere was beautiful and felt like a completely different world when you walk in from the parking lot.

We were there for lunch during their soft opening so they weren’t totally optimized with everything, but the service was great, ambience was fun, and the food was pretty good although it lacked salt.

If you’re looking for an incredible teppanyaki experience, Sakura in Prescott Valley is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The energy in the restaurant was lively, and our grill master absolutely stole the show — he was hilarious, engaging, and kept everyone laughing the entire time. The food was phenomenal! I ordered the steak and scallops, and both were cooked to absolute perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The kids had a blast, too, because the whole experience is very interactive. Between the chef’s tricks, the flying utensils, and the bursts of flame on the grill, there was never a dull moment at the table. One thing to note: it’s definitely on the louder side, so this isn’t the place for a quiet, intimate conversation. But if you’re there to have fun, enjoy amazing food, and soak up a lively atmosphere, it’s perfect. We sat and had sushi in the dining room before and there is no sound barrier between the rooms, so that can get loud too. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to try next time. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was delicious and arrived as ordered. They were busy when we arrived but slowed down after 30 minutes. Our server was attentive and was pretty fast. We sat at the regular table, because we didn't reserve the Hibachi table. Overall, it was a great experience.
